Water Polo: Spain and USA to the Quarterfinals
Three victories and a draw in the Men’s Water Polo Tournament last day. These results start to outline the Quarterfinals grid of the 13th FINA World Championships.

With Spain’s victory over Kazakhstan (11-5) and the draw between Serbia and Australia (8-8), group C sees Spanish confirming their first place with six points and conquering the Quarterfinal. Australians and Serbs follow them at the second and third place, while Kazakhs are in the last position. Balkans are waiting for its adversary: tonight’s match between Italy and Macedonia will decide it. Australians will face Romania, defeated 7-5 by USA. Group D sees, in fact the American rule (six points in three matches) and Romanians at the second place (four points).

Hungary defeated South Africa (15-5) in group A last match: over the victory they also celebreate the birth of Norbert Madaras’ son. The afternoon session will decide the definitive grid of the next tournament.
