ANIA Foundation for road safety, a nonprofit organization started in 2004 by Italian insurance companies in order to deal with the serious issue of road security throughout projects and initiatives to minimize the occurrence of accidents and to contribute in saving lives.

Today security demand is one of the most important needs of citizens, therefore, since road safety has become a National emergency has to be put on top of the list of priorities. In Italy 14 people die every day. 5.131 in a year. We have to face the problem and resolve it with all the forces we can involve.

To down size the occurrence of accidents ANIA Foundation creates concrete projects and initiatives to alert public opinion, helping to teach individuals who drive any type of vehicle how to respect the road rules.

At the same time ANIA Foundation cooperates with the major National and local institutions in creating a better communication system between drivers and public institutions and in implementing the existing infrastructures.

Through the years several protocols were signed and project were established with the Internal Affairs Ministry, The Public Education Ministry and the Youth Policies Ministry.
