Myrtha Pools technologies
Myrtha is simply the most exclusive and advanced technology in the swimming pool industry. Its patented pre-engineered modular laminated steel panels and buttress system enables Myrtha to obtain perfect waterproofing, efficient installation and low maintenance pools suitable for almost any environment.
The Myrtha Technology is the perfect solution for temporary installations. Myrtha has built pools in venues ranging from stadiums to sports halls as in Rome on the Italic Forum tennis courts.
Rome 1994 – Rome 2009
Rome, Italic Forum, September 1994. Myrtha Pools was the official supplier of VII FINA World Swimming Championships. Due to the structural restrictions of The Italic Forum they were not able to have a synchro swimming pool. The solution was to build a temporary venue with the Myrtha Technology on the Central Tennis Court.
Rome, Italic Forum, July 2009. After 15 years Myrtha Pools returns to Rome as the Official Partner and Official Supplier for 13th FINA World Swimming Championships. The temporary pools built by Myrtha Pools are the following:
The Waterpolo Pool (34x20.40x2 m) is installed on the Central Tennis Court, same as in 1994.
The Synchro Swimming Pool (34x21x3 m) is installed on the “Pietrangeli” tennis court, in the Royal Tennis Stadium.
