Also Sudan and Oman will participate to Roma09: the African Federation will attend the FINA Championships with four swimmers, all men, whereas the Asiatic Federation with one athlete. So the number of participant countries increases again: they will be 182. It’s a record in the World Championships history. The countries were 167 in Melbourne, two years ago.
