Spain win gold medal in Free Combination Synchronized Swimming
Spain is the World Champion in the Free Combination Synchronized Swimming event. Winning the gold this morning with a score of (98.333),followed by China with the silver scoring (97.667),and with Canada winning the bronze with a score of (96.167). The Italians almost placed third, however had an all time high with a score of (95.667) coming in fourth place. It was a very huge disappointment for the Italian athletes as well as the couch Laura De Renzis.
“We’re angry and frustrated because we did our best and it wasn’t good enough. It was obvious that the judges were very harsh with our performance. Today’s score is definitely disappointing but also marks an historic goal for us”.
Said an emotional Alessia Bigi.
The Solo Technical elimination round will be held this afternoon.
