Russia ruled the Synchronised Swimming day
The Russian team ruled the third day of the Synchronised Swimming competition, too. After the gold medal won in the morning by Natalia Ishchenko, Russia got the first position in the Duet Technical preliminary round, before Spanish and Chinese athletes.
The Italian Duet, formed by Beatrice Adelizzi and Giulia Lapi, obtained the sixth position, behind Japan and Canada. Malaysia gave up the competition.
The afternoon surprise is represented by Mexico, unexpectedly out of the Final with a disappointing score. Athletes and coach were sure to have suffered an injustice by judges. The Armenian athletes were in tears: they collected the lowest score (56.833).
In the morning the Solo Technical Final did not give big surprises: first position for Russia, followed by Spain and Canada. Italian Beatrice Adelizzi conquered the best placement ever for Italy in the Synchronised Swimming with her fourth position.
