Phelps' revenge

The athlete from Mirano ruled the Women’s 200m Freestyle, setting the new World record and confirming herself as the queen of the World Championships.
Finally Rome has seen Michael Phelps’ smile. Yesterday he was defeated by German Biedermann, this afternoon he imposed his rhythm in the Men’s 200m Butterfly, taking the World record and his 17th gold medal at the Championships, deleting yesterday’s delusion. The gap from Polish Korzeniowski (1.72), says everything about his performance.

Tomorrow the challenge between these athletes promise to be exciting. Another Final is the Women’s 50m Backstroke one: today Russian Zueva prevailed by a hair. She set the new World record (27.38) just after German Salulski’s one (27.39).
