The second diving competition in programme in the first day of the FINA World Championships will see 31 athletes engaged in the women's 10 m platform. The preliminary round will take place on Friday at 14.15. Young Chinese Roulin Chen (17), gold medal at Beijing 2008, will be among the divers in schedule. Brenda Spaziani, first classified at the Trieste Indoor National Championships, and Noemi Batki, bronze medal at the Eindhoven 2008 European Championships, will compete for the Italian flag. The programme sees also Mexican Paola Espinoza and Australian Melissa Wu (respectively fourth and sixth at Beijing Olympics). Even Dutch Tonia Couch will try to improve her results after the eighth position got in China.
