17/04/2009Water Polo Draw. ’Settebello’ against Usa, Macedonia and Romania; ’Setterosa’ against Uzbekistan, Hungary and China
Water Polo’s World Championships Group Draws took place today in Rome.
Fiori’s Setterosa placed in Group A with Uzbekistan, China and Hungary. A not-easy group but where Setterosa can play an important role. Italy will debut versus Uzbekistan to go on after its course versus Hungary and the last match versus China. In Group B will play Russia, USA, Greece and Kazakhstan; in Group C New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and Australia instead in Group D Germany, Brazil, Spain and the Dutches Olympic ladies’champions.
Sandro Campagna’s Settebello, instead, placed in Group D with USA, Macedonia and Romania.
Also in this case a not easy group but very stimulant for Italy that will debut versus USA and will end versus Macedonia and in the middle the match versus Romania.
The other groups are composed by South Africa, Canada, Germany and Hungary, Olympic Champion in Beijing, in Group A; Montenegro, Croatia, China and Brazil in Group B; Kazakhstan, Serbia, Australia and Spain in Group C.
