Today has been presented, in Foreign Press Association’s office in via dell’Umiltà, the Roma09 Village, a shopping, meeting, relaxing area inside Foro Italico in occasion of 13th FINA World Championships. An eye on sport world but also of Italian culture that will be managed by Jumbo Grandi Eventi, leader company concerning institutional, sportive and congressional events.
During the Press Conference were present Giovanni Malagò, Roma09 Organizing Committee’s President, Roberto Diacetti, Roma09 Organizing Committee’s General Director, Rossella Bussetti, Jumbo Grandi Eventi’s Managing Director, Jean Pierre Maffe, Village’s Director, and the journalist and TV-Radio anchor, Pierluigi Diaco that will the liable of “Stile Libero” a current affairs and deepening agenda inside the Village.
The locus consists in five different areas: Hospitality Village, an area reserved to Federation and Committee’s members; Market District, 12,000 square meters of exhibition and promotional spaces; Piazza Eventi e Spettacolo, that will host music and artistic events of international fame; Area Relax Atleti, where the protagonists of Championships will meet before and after the competitions; Food Court, where inside will be set up 20 stands with equipped kitchens.
Village Roma09 will be inaugurated next July 15th, 2 days before the beginning of the World Championships. Village Roma09 will be open for 19 days, until August 2nd, ending date of World Championships.
