“Young people are the source not only of the sport but also of the future. You have to give a decisive push towards the future”. Everybody agree, Nicola Zingaretti, Roma’s Province President, Paolo Barelli, Federnuoto’s President, Giovanni Malagò, World Championships’ Organizing Committee President, Roberto Diacetti, Roma09’s General Director and Patrizia Prestipino, Sport’s Assessor of Roma’s Province. This morning at Auditorium Conciliazione, Roma’s Province presented the Swimming World Championships to about 800 students of Roma and Province schools. Malagò remarked as the dream for all young people could be to host an other time the Olympic Games in Rome, Zingaretti confirmed as the sport is a fundamental vehicle for the cultural growth, not only physical, of the guys while the Senator Barelli underlined the increasing spread of Swimming both at competitive level and amateur among guys.
Very intense enthusiasm there has been when have been introduced to the students of Auditorium Alessio Boggiatto, champion of Swimming National Team, Beatrice Adelizzi and Giulia Lapi of Synchronized National Team.
