A minute of silence to remember Furahashi
Before the Final start, a minute of silence has been to remember Hironoshin Furuhashi, Vice President of FINA and President of the Japanese Olympic Commission, who passed away during last night.
Furusashi, 81-years-old, was an excellent swimmer: he set World record in the 400, 800 and 1500m Freestyle in 1949.
