The Hungarian Olympic champions get the fifth place
Hungary and Romania scored 5th and 7th place respectively after the first two matches of the last men’s wateropolo day. Hungary, that had the lead of the whole match, got a victory over Germany scoring 9-6 with three goals by Hosnyanszki, and the others by Szivos, Kiss, Madaras, Kis. Denes and Daniel Verga. Same scoring recorded in the final for 7th place with Romania ahead of Canada after a match played on an equal footing up until Romania’s better performance showed in the last period. Awaiting the finals for 1st and 3rd place scheduled for this afternoon the ranking listi s the following: 5 Hungary, 6 Germany, 7 Romania, 8 Canada, 9 Montenegro, 10 Australia, 11 Italy, 12 China, 13 Brasil, 14 Macedonia, 15 South Africa, 16 Kazakistan.
