A morning of fireworks at the World Championships. Many CR have been crashed during the first session of the swimming races, and many more might have the same destiny during the evening finals. The queen of the morning was Federica Pellegrini who made her debut in the 400m Freestyle with the best time in the heats and wiill be the favourite one for the final scheduled at 6:53 p.m.. A very good result also for Sjostrom (SWE) who stopped the time of her heat 15 cents from De Bruijn’s WR, the oldest one in swimming. Munoz and Schoeman (50m Butterfly), Biedermann (400m Freestyle), Kukors (200m Medley) and Dubosq and Richard (100m Breaststroke) also enter their finals. 4x100m relays Freestyle saw Women German Team in the lead, while Italy and France failed their qualification. Among Men, Australia will enter the final with the best time.
Korean Park and Massimiliano Rosolino were the real surprise of today and they won’t be in the 400m Fresstyle final event.
