Gemma Mengual (ESP), Silver medal: «I felt more confident today than I did yesterday, although I was still very nervous. My score slightly improved but clinching the gold medal would have been extremely difficult».
Marie Boudreau-Gagnon (CAN) – Bronze medal
«I am so proud, it is really a honour for me to be on the podium with the best swimmers in the world. These girls (Ishchenko and Mengual) have always been an example for me. I was used to watch them on video trying to reach their high level. I am so excited. Today I performed with a lot of energy. It was my last chance to win a medal, so I gave all I had. My target was a perfect swim and I think I succeeded».

The Italian has not succeded in gaining the podium over the Canadian, despite a first class performance. «I am really happy, I was a bit nervous as usual when I started, but I have been able to correct yesterday's mstakes - explained Adelizzi - This is my personal score record (94.667) now I hope to do the same in the next competiton. The one we rely more on is the free combined».
