Together with Roma09 water disciplines World Championships, AAMS, the Autonomous Administration of the State Monopoly, intends to reconfirm and highlight it’s dedicated attention to the world of Sports. In a particular way, to those disciplines that do not only breed a great emotional impact towards a wide public free of geographical borders, but do represent an important value of the Italian culture.
At the same time AAMS, wishes to spread out, through this prestigious Event, as also through the water sports fan, it’s own mission as Administration, named to guard equity, security and liability of the public games.
Sport and Games set up a binomial, tightened by the same roots, that pretend clear, certain and fair rules.
Rules, that in order to be considered in such way, need to guarantee and to safeguard each man, regardless social or cultural differences.
AAMS’s support to the 13th FINA World Championships is made with the full awareness that Games as Sport Events are the most important key points towards social integration. And that they are over all, the opportunity for an effective and real contribution to grant the development of a kind of culture that adds value to sociality and solidarity among mankind.

AAMS, the Autonomous Administration of the State Monopoly, carries out the direct activity due to the regulation and control of the entire section of the Games, after acquiring in the 2002 the state functions and still detaining some of the traditional duties on those products that are the result of the tobacco processing.
The presence of the State, in the Games Section as in the Tobacco one, is typified by the assurance of a consistent level of Treasury income, together with the protection of relevant public interests: the guardianship of the customers, in particular the underage and the weaker ones, as contrasting and working against illegality.
AAMS rule, inside the Games Section, is to draw up line guides for a dynamic and rational evolution of the mentioned section, standing over, in a constant way, on the regular behavior of the dealer and operators, assuring as prime goal an environment of legal and responsible Games, always in a controlled and updated way. AAMS also steps in each contrast raising from illegal playing and acting, with the issue and aim of granting the optimization of the competent Treasury revenue.
