Stefano Mei ’runs’ with Rome ’09
The ’Yes, we swim’ group on Facebook gathers more than two-thousand ’friends’. Among the members of the beginning days there’s also Stefano Mei. Stefano was the European Champion on the 10.000 m race in Stuttgart and the vice-champion on the 5.000 m race in the same edition of European Championships. He was also repeatedly an Italian record-holder: bronze medallist in Split 1990 on the 10.000 m race; he was 42 times in the Italian national team, including the presences in Los Angeles 1984 and Seoul 1988 Olympic Games.
