Sara Simeoni “swims” with Roma09: the olympic champion of high jump in Moscow 1980 joined the “Yes, we swim” group, which supports the 13th FINA World Championships and which collects more than 3.000 members. As well as the gold medal, Sara Simeone got twice the silver medal (in Montreal ’76 and in Los Angeles ’84); she’s European champion and world record holder with 2,01 m: a measure which, as Italian record, has survived three decades, from 1978 to 2008.
