15/12/2008Michelle, Domenico, Diva, Roma 09 and Enel Cuore at ’Bambino Gesù’Hospital
Rome 15th December. Michelle Hunziker, the Olympic Champion Domenico Fioravanti and Diva the Official Mascot of the Roma09 Committee met today the little patients of the “Bambino Gesù” Hospital bringing them gifts from the 13th FINA World Championships and linked to the “Enel Cuore” Project. Present in the playroom of the Hospital for this important moment also the President of the Organizing Committee Mr. Giovanni Malagò, the President of the Italian Swimming Federation Mr. Paolo Barelli, the President of the Hospital Mr. Giuseppe Profiti, the President of the Lazio Region Mr. Pero Marrazzo, the Sport Delegate of the Municipality of Rome Mr. Alessandro Cochi and the General Director of the Roma09 Organizing Committee Mr. Roberto Diacetti.
Michelle Hunziker and Domenico Fioravanti together with the Diva Mascot visited also those child’s who couldn’t leave the cure department s and brought also to them the gifts and their support. The visit with the smiling child’s lasted more than one hour and all of them were very proud and happy to receive Michelle’s and Domenico’s visit.
“As Organizing Committee of the next Championships we have three goals, declares the President Mr. Malagò: to organize at best the Championships, to promote the Event in all the national territory and to launch a message of solidarity, since sport and solidarity are usually strictly linked and usually overlap. This for I would like to thank all the attendants, the President Mr. Barelli and the President Mr. Marrazzo for being here today and a special thank goes to Michelle and to the non profit organization Onlus “Enel Cuore””.
