Diving: the challenge is from China
Eight medals on eight on offer. In Quatar China tanks up and challenges the Roma09 future rivals. Underlining that diving could be a no-competition. At the World Series in Doha, in fact, Olympic champion Roulin Chen (picture) got the gold medal in the women’s 10m platform individual and synchro contests. Also Yue Lin and Liang Huo confirmed their Beijing successes in the men’s 10m platform synchro; Feng Wang and Kai Qin achieved a great performance in the men’s 3m springboard synchro. This time Luxin Zhou won over his Australian rival Matthew Mitcham (what he couldn’t do at the Olympic Games), winning the gold medal in the men’s 10m platform.
Next dates for diving are on March 27th and 28th in Changzhou, China, on April 18th and 19th in Sheffield, England, and at least on April 24th and 25th in Mexico City.
