“The Foro Italico, house of the biggest sport events” this the leading theme of the speech held by Mr. Roberto Diacetti, the General Director of the Roma09 Organizing Committee at the Convention “Foro Italico: towards a city of sport” going on in these days at the Foro Italico, organized by IERAAN, the Institute dedicate to the protection of the natural environment and anthropological historical. The Roma 2009 World Championships, that will be hosted by the Foro Italico and where four of the five disciplines will be competed in it’s pools, has been presented by the General Director: the Foro Italico is a spectacular scenario from an artistic and cultural point of view and will be implemented only with temporary infrastructure in order to maintain the original beauty but at the same time it will have the highest technologies and eco – friendly services for the athletes, for the spectators, for the media and for all the people that will participate to the greatest worldwide sport event in the 2009.
Mr. Alessandro Cochi, the Sport delegate of the Municipality of Rome, has been the moderator of the debate held this morning at the “Red Room” of the Foro Italico during which lots has been the speeches of the attendants, such as the Member of Parliament Mr. Barbaro, Mr. Santocito, the Professor Mrs. Isabella Rauti, the Professor Mr. Paolo Parisi, Mr. Sandro Bari, Mr. Paolo Sidoni and the Master Mr. Giovanni Arcangeli who spoke about the emotions of a painter at the Foro Italico.
