"Rome needs great events and this is what tights the Fair of Rome with the Swimming World Championships what Rome will host in the next year". These the words of Stefano Battistelli, the Italian swimming champion, in occasion of the second edition of "Big Blu" – Rome Sea Expo, Fair of the nautical, the environment and underwater, set up at the Rome Fair from the 28th of February until the 3rd of March. Battistelli, representing Roma09 at the Press Conference held today at the Caffarelli Terrace, evidenced the link between great events of the capital, reminding the huge numbers of the Championships scheduled from the 18th of July to the 2nd of August. "Roma09 will have as protagonists 2.500 athletes of 170 participant nations . These are record numbers and I'm sure that Rome will match up with this big event".
