A worldwide lesson
The President of the 13th FINA World Championships Organizing Committee Roma09, Giovanni Malagò met the students of the LUISS University in Rome to relate about the next World Championships that the city of Rome will host in the 2009. The President Malagò evidenced the multiple aspects of such a great sport event, which includes also social and cultural moments and the huge infrastructure heritage that the Championships will leave to the city of Rome and to the Lazio Region. Among this the President highlighted how the Swimming Championships in the 2009, the Volley Championships in the 2010 and the eventual Basket Championships in the 2014 can be a stepping stone for the Olympic nomination of Rome in the 2020.
