Under the patronage of the Network Mtv Italia it is confirmed that also Nickelodeon, the TV channel targeted to kids (Sky 604), will be at the VillageRoma09 with Spongebob, his friends and their fantastic World, starting from the 18th of July from 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm.



Pineapple shaped gazebos, rocks and bubbles will set the scene for creative workshops, a Spongebob video game area and a theater area with Spongebob cartoons, in order for kids to enjoy their beloved sea sponge. There will be team plays (such as “Jellyfish Hunter”) and the presence of Spongebob and Patrick costume characters with whom kids will have the chance to take pictures.

Within the Nickelodeon pro-social campaign, Ti Voglio Tanto Verde, of which Spongebob is the testimonial 2009, there will be a wall where kids will have the opportunity to leave their pledges/suggestions in favor of the Mediterranean Sea safeguard. WHO IS SPONGEBOB?


Spongebob, a sea sponge created by Stephen Hillenburg, is the protagonist of the series dedicated to him, set in Bikini Bottom, a small town under the Pacific Ocean, full of fishes, shellfishes and every kind of sea animals. He lives in a pineapple shaped gazebo with Gary, the little periwinkle who meows like a kitten. His adventure mates are the octopus Squidward, Patrick Starfish and Sandy Cheeks, a little squirrel who can survive underwater thanks to a diver suit. He works as a cooker at the Krusty Krab, eager Mr. Krabs’ fast food, and he is a pro in preparing the famous hamburger Krubby Patty. The favorite hobby of Spongebob is hunting jellyfish.
